Learning Objectives

• Understand the motivitation to use Generalized Linear Model (GLM)
  • Refresh your knowledge about probablity distributions
• Understand the two components of the GLM: Linear predictor + Link function
• Know common types of GLMs, their corresponding data types, response distributions, and link functions
• Understand basic syntax of PROC GENMOD and PROC LOGISTIC.
• Be able to implement common types of GLMs in SAS and interpret the outputs.

I feel I did not devote enough time in Week 1 to review different probablity distributions in details. TBH, we have one fewer week in Module 1 this year so I was in rush to cut and merge some sessions😂
